Report tab

The Report tab contains various features related to generating reports. All features will be summarized on this page but each hyperlinked feature can be clicked on to see a more detailed description for more information.

Project group

  • Create Report generates a dropdown list of formats a report can be created as: Text, HTML, and PDF. Clicking on your desired option opens the Save Vericut Report window enabling you to specify the /path/filename for the report file to be created.

  • Report Template opens the Report Template window enabling you to define a new, or modify an existing, report template.

  • User-Defined Tag Values opens the User-Defined Tags window enabling you to assign job specific information to "generic" User-Defined Tag Values prior to creating a Vericut report.

  • No Page Break — removes visual indications of page breaks from reports.

Control group

  • View G-Code Report enables you to create a G-Code Report file containing information about how the current NC control configuration will interpret a G-Code NC program file.

  • View Control Report enables you to create a Control Report file containing information about how the current NC control configuration will interpret machine codes.

Logger Options group

  • Vericut Log opens the Vericut Log window which displays the Vericut Log file. This file contains session information such as error, warning, and informational messages about the verification session.
  • Clear Log File and Logger — empties both the Message area, also known as the "message logger", and the Vericut Log file. This button can also be accessed from the Info tab.
