Converters and Interfaces¶
CAD Model Interfaces¶
What is a CAD Model Interface?¶
A CAD Model Interface enables VERICUT and VDAF to import and process supported CAD model file formats. These models can be used to define stock, fixtures, design models, tool holders, and machine components.
3DLive™ Interface¶
ACIS Model Interface¶
Catia V4 Model Interface¶
Catia V5 Model Interface¶
Creo Model Interface¶
NX Model Interface¶
NX Interface (NXV)¶
SolidWorks Model Interface¶
CADCAM Interfaces¶
What is a CADCAM Interface?¶
A CADCAM to Vericut Interface enables the transfer of machining data from supported CADCAM software to Vericut and VDAF. The interface simplifies the setup process by transferring the necessary data to prepare a simulation, reducing manual setup and helping ensure accurate simulation results.

Siemens NX-to-Vericut Interface (NXV)¶
Surfcam-to-Vericut Interface (SCV)¶
Converters¶
What is a Converter?¶
A Converter is a utility that converts geometry from one file format to another. Converters enable geometry data to be translated into supported formats, such as STL and Vericut Polygon files, for use in Vericut.
