Info Tab¶
The Info tab contains various features related to interpreting data process in Vericut. All features will be summarized on this page but each hyperlinked feature can be clicked on to see a more detailed description for more information.
Info group
-
NC Program — opens the NC Program panel displaying the NC program file being simulated.
-
Status — opens the Status panel that provides status information about the simulation, and what would be occurring on the NC machine.
-
Variables — opens the Variables panel which is used to monitor, initialize, and maintain G-Code variables.
-
HUD Control — opens the HUD Control window enabling you to specify the way certain elements of Vericut are displayed.
Debug group
-
Machine Offsets — opens the Machine Offsets panel enabling you to view the values that are set for each machine offset and determine whether a particular machine offset is currently active.
-
Call Stack — opens the Call Stack panel enabling you to track information like subroutine calls and which subsystem is currently active. The picture below shows the current status of three subsystems.
-
Subroutines — opens the Subroutines panel enabling you to look at subroutines and related information in an easy to visualize manner.
-
SubSystem Motion — opens the SubSystem Motion panel enabling you to debug problems associated with the configuration of complex machines.
-
Siemens Frames — opens the Siemens Frames enabling you to debug Siemens Frames.
Report group
-
View G-Code Report — creates and opens the G-Code Report File containing information about how the current NC control configuration will interpret a G-Code NC program file.
-
View Control Report — creates and opens the Control Report file containing information about how the current NC control configuration will interpret machine codes.
-
Vericut Log — opens the Vericut Log window which displays the Vericut Log file. This file contains session information, such as error, warning and informational messages about the verification session.
-
Clear Log File and Logger — empties both the Message area, also known as the "message logger", and the Vericut Log file. This button can also be accessed from the Report tab.
-
Export robot axis kinematic data — Use this button to generate a .csv file of kinematic data. This command button is automatically grayed out unless there is robot kinematic data present in your project.
Programming group
Simulated Location Report — This button opens the Simulated Location Report panel which displays a table containing all simulated location data.
Simulated Location Summary — This button opens the Simulated Location Summary panel which provides information about the fasteners that have been inserted during the simulation.
